WITH its 128-year old legacy, Troy University has joined SEGi University and Colleges as a new partner.

Although Troy University has partnerships with several higher learning institutions in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia, this is its first with a Malaysian varsity.

With its main campus in Troy, Alabama, the United States, Troy University joins the league of renowned overseas partner universitiy offering its exclusive programmes to students at SEGi.

Thanks to this partnership, Malaysians can now pursue an American education without having to leave the country.

SEGi College Kuala Lumpur principal Dr Doris Alexius says the institution wants to offer the best study options.

“We are elated to have one of the most popular public universities in the southeast United States as our partner in offering quality 4+0 American education at our campuses,” she says.

SEGi College Kuala Lumpur is the first among the SEGi campuses to offer the Bachelor of Science programme, with majors in Communication Arts, Psychology and Business Administration and minors in Promotion, Communication Studies, Promotion, Psychology and Global Business. Graduates will obtain bachelor degrees from Troy University.

Students will be encouraged to undergo industrial training to gain a holistic learning experience and to be career-ready.
