{"id":3695,"date":"2022-04-17T13:58:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-17T05:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/segi.investor.net.my\/?p=3695"},"modified":"2022-04-22T14:00:48","modified_gmt":"2022-04-22T06:00:48","slug":"segi-eyes-digital-dominance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/segi.investor.net.my\/segi-eyes-digital-dominance\/","title":{"rendered":"SEGi eyes digital dominance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apicms.thestar.com.my\/uploads\/images\/2022\/04\/17\/1553678.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Top notch: SEGi University has achieved the QS 5 Stars Plus status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEGi is set on increasing its effort of digitalising learning processes, including upgrading campus facilities, to keep up with higher education international standards in the digital age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is one of the goals it has identified as it celebrates its 45th anniversary as one of the country\u2019s prominent higher education providers, with approximately 20,000 students in five campuses across the Klang Valley, Penang and Sarawak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cognisant of the changing demands of the human capital market as a result of globalisation, it has also set its sights on improving students\u2019 access, learning, and applications of knowledge, which will help graduates face work challenges amid the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the institution will continue to champion diversity in higher education, which is reflected across all its campuses\u2019 significant ratio of international students from nearly 100 countries.<video><\/video><video><\/video><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is hoped that the healthy interaction between its local and international students will encourage cultural exchange, giving them a global perspective, SEGi said in a recent press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEGi will also continue developing effective compliance, and enhancing its sustainability and corporate responsibility efforts to benefit future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEGi University achieved the overall QS 5 Stars Plus status in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is one of only 19 universities globally and among two Malaysian universities to achieve this status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, SEGi College campuses attained a six-star rating in the Malaysian Quality Evaluation System for Private Colleges (MyQuest) 2018\/2019, while SEGi College Kuala Lumpur achieved a five-star rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEGi first started out with its first education centre, Systematic Business Training Centre, in Kuala Lumpur in 1977, focusing on providing professional qualifications within the reach of willing minds and natural talents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Top notch: SEGi University has achieved the QS 5 Stars Plus status.
