[Borneo Post Online] SEGi to hold health awareness campaign on Sept 28, 29

KUCHING: SEGi College Sarawak (SEGi) will be holding a health awareness campaign in its main campus at Jalan Bukit Mata here on Sept 28 and 29.

Jointly organised by the college’s Allied Health Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Leo Club and Rotaract Club, the two-day event centres around topics on general health, women’s health and reproductive health.

A series of health talks on diabetes, breast cancer, and women and reproductive health will be conducted by medical specialists Dr William Voon, Dr Rokayah Julaihi and Dr Elizabeth Eu.

A free basic medical check-up will also be provided by Normah Medical Specialist Centre (NMSC) while those seeking medical advice can obtain free medical consultation from Dr Rajentharan Veerappan.

Other activities lined up during the two-day event include a blood drive, self-breast examination demonstration and health exhibition.

SEGi currently provides Diploma in Healthcare and Medical Laboratory Technology.
