KUCHING: Three graduates from SEGi College Sarawak (SEGi) will be awarded with upper second class honours for their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours degree under the University of London International Programmes.

The college in a statement yesterday said this is the first time its graduates have achieved this classification.

Six other graduates from the college’s 2016–2017 final year batch of LLB students will receive a second class honours lower division while the remaining three students fall into third class honours.

“Studying for the LLB Honours under the highly prestigious University of London International Programmes in a registered centre at SEGi, requires an assiduous attitude and perseverance to successfully complete the degree.

“The students of 2016–2017 have collectively accomplished this,” said SEGi principal Ivy Lau who commended her students over their academic performance.

SEGi is the only higher education institution in East Malaysia to offer high-quality internationally recognised law programmes.
